NBT Consult worked with the design team to optimise the insulation, day lighting and ventilation strategy within the constraints of the traditional Cotswold building style. A detailed services performance specification was produced along with thermal and air tightness details. This was followed up on site with inspections and training at key stages. NBT Consult carried out the blower door testing and the lessons leant were fed back to the construction team. Once the buildings are occupied the energy use, temperature and humidity will be monitored remotely and fed back to the occupants. This will also inform the next project.
